Meet Author Michael Anthony Boswell
Mike is the Lead and Founding Pastor of The Journey Church in Boise, Idaho, where he currently serves with the best staff in the world. He was born in the city of San Francisco, California, where he met Christ at an early age, barely survived middle school, loved high school, and yawned his way through San Francisco State University for three years before transferring to Bethany University in Scotts Valley. There he met his beautiful bride, Wendy, and received his Bachelor's in Church Leadership. They have four incredible kids, Kaitlyn (and husband Hunter), Michael (and wife Damaris), Kalyssa, and Brielle - and two melt-your-heart grandkids, Theo and Desmond.
As opportunities arise, Mike loves traveling to the foreign mission field where he has served the impoverished, spoken in churches and taught church leadership seminars in places like Tanzania, the Philippines and the Amazon jungle in Peru. He loves God, loves people, loves to play basketball and loves his San Francisco 49ers. He's also an avid skier in the winter and a terrible golfer no matter when. So, unless you want a good laugh and a waste of your time, don't invite him golfing! Invite him skiing instead!
